Public Forum:

Cllr Roberts welcomed everyone to the meeting. Resident thanked Council for getting grit bin.

Opening of Meeting:

Cllr Roberts opened meeting proper at 7.02pm.

Apologies for Absence:

Cllr M Dodds, District Cllr R Dixon-Warren.

Declarations of Interest:

None.

County Councillor and District Councillor’s Reports:

Re surfacing works carried out.

6.

Minutes of last meeting 7th October 2024 to be Agreed and Signed.

7.

Matters Arising:

None.

8.

Finance: Payments approved for the following -

BDG Mowing – Grass cutting October 2024 – £351.60

Parish Clerk Salary – October - £218.91

Wave – Water Burial Ground - £36.77

HMRC – still under consideration.  Thank you to Cllr Carr-bilas and other for advice to enable the PC to respond.

Parish Clerk Update:

NSK Parish Council Engagement Session 21st January 2025.

10.

Storage of Sand and Sand Bags: Brian – Spring Cottage happy to store sandbags i.e. in gateway over the bridge – on high ground and will not flood.  Sand needs to be put on pallet.  Matt will find out further information – would need to be accessible if Matt not around.

Planning:

S24/1623 - Low Park Lodge - No objections.

Highways: Nothing to report.

13.

Neighbourhood Watch:

Police at Temple Farm – property broken into and radiators stolen.

14.

Cemetery: Cllr Carr-bilas (re Maureen) re planting of tulips – plan of Churchyard required – Cllr Carr-bilas will liaise with Brian. 

15.

AOB:

John Leach checks Defib once a week need to transfer back to PC.  Pads replaced – new code number required.

Cllr Roberts to request quotations re BDG Mowing and Lionel re areas they cut.
