2 The Chairman welcomed all present.

3 No members of the public were present

4 Declarations of Interest – None.

5 Minutes of the Last Meeting – agreed and signed. Proposed by FC and seconded by RS.

6 Matters Arising

PM2 raised the issue of Laughton Manor and the burning of manure/straw. He stated that the stables should be subject to Business rates. JL said he had been in correspondence with the Environmental people at SKDC and they were fully aware of situation and will be making spot checks to keep an eye on it. Also letters had been sent to all residents asking them to report any further issues.

7 Planning

A notification had been received from SKDC Planning to inform the PC that the Appeal Date for Mr & Mrs Hills Planning application was set as 9th of October. The PC had already decided that they will make no further representation. No information has been forthcoming as to what the decision was.

8 Cemetery

Nothing to report.

9 Neighbourhood Watch

There had been an attempted garage break in at Hill House but when the alarm went off the person or persons ran off and nothing was taken.

10 Highways

JL had been in correspondence with Lincolnshire Highways who had informed him that the PC had been cutting the amenity grass in the village illegally as we had not entered into a Parish Agreement with LCC Highways. Jl had responded and was awaiting further information. The information was given to MH who said he would deal with it.

JL had asked BDG Mowing Contractors for a quote to do some additional work following on from the last meeting he will chaise this up as he has not received a revised quote yet.

11 Finance

JL said the current balance in the Current Account were £686.97 and the Savings Account stood at £11253.89 – Total £11940.86.

A number of invoices had been received and will be paid in the next few days. These were:-

Skip - £282.00

Brittains – grass cutting £170.00

Water Rates - £14.81

It was agreed to transfer another £1000 into the Current account to cover any future bills. There would be another invoice from BDG.

JL asked for some more cheques to be signed.

12 Correspondence

JL went through correspondence received. All had been dealt with in previous sections apart from.

13 SKDC Update/Neighbourhood Plan

FC said that the recent Gravity Fields event had gone very well and had brought many people and income into Grantham.

SKDC have bought the old Cummings site which has been earmarked for Housing and Industrial development.

14 Lincolnshire County Council Update

MH said the people who had done the recent road dressing had been back and repaired the areas with large pot holes as requested. The ones by the Ford unfortunately will not be done in the foreseeable future but obviously if they get any worse they should be reported in the normal way.

The road from the village to Low Park was mentioned. MH said that they had looked at doing this at the same time as the village but had decided it was too expensive however the major pot holes had already been repaired and it was now a lot better than it had been.

Details re the issue with grass cutting were given to MH and he will look into it and feed back to the PC as soon as he gets an answer.
